Here are the main contributors to this project
I am a Ph.D. in Agricultural Microbiology, with long experience in the development of analyses pipelines for nucleotide sequencing data.
My main focus in the last 10 years has been to use amplicon markers and shotgun metagenomics to study microbial communities.
Recently, in collaboration with experienced scientists and programmers, we were able to build interactive web databases to help other scientists and general public to also study and explore microbial communities. This has been my current passion and endeavor.
I am a biologist and a M.Sc. in Biochemistry, working with R programming since 2014 and learning web development (mostly using JavaScript, CSS and HTML) since 2021.
I started research in 2013, using network and functional analysis, differential gene expression, and scrutinizing databases to understand stem cells, cancer, and COVID. But here I am helping improve this site, making tools for everybody to explore Brazil's rich soils.
